Dr. John Paulson:

Dr Paulson graduated from Oregon State University in 1991.  He practiced in Cottage Grove, Oregon and Redmond, Washington before coming to Silverdale in 1996.  His veterinary interest lies in Orthopedic and Soft Tissue Surgery.

Dr Paulson is certified for orthopedic bone plating and Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteomtomy (TPLO) Surgery. 

His personal interests include golfing, backpacking, and spending time with his wife Lisa, and two children Josie and Isaac.  His personal motto is "To live life more like a marathon than a sprint -- and add plenty of rest stops along the way."
 







Dr Heath
Dr. Shannon Heath:

Dr Heath graduated from Colorado State University.  She is licensed and accredited in Washington, Wyoming, and  Colorado, and has been practicing for 20 years.  She formerly worked in Idaho and Wyoming at a mobile practice, as well as locally as a staff veterinarian at the Kitsap Humane Society.

Her area of veterinary interest lies in Dentistry, and she believes all pets deserve to have a healthy and pain free mouth.  She has a 'mini zoo' of her own at home which includes two horses "Dusty" & "Chester", four domestic shorthaired cats, seven chickens, and "Buddy" the hamster.

Her personal motto is: "To provide quality and compassionate care to patients and their loved ones."







Dr. Catherine Morrow:

Dr. Morrow grew up on a small hobby farm outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA with a Bachelors of Science degree in biochemistry in 2005. She moved to Philadelphia PA soon after graduation to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After spending four years studying a wide variety of animals, she graduated in 2009 with a degree in small animal medicine.
Dr. Morrow's area of interest is yet to be determined, however, she enjoys all aspects of general practice. She loves working with dogs and cats.  
Although she has been living the "city-life" for the past four years, she has recently been spending her free time exploring the outdoors of her new home. She is also hard at work training her new puppy, Eddie.  



 

Dr. Michelle Burch:

 

 Dr. Burch received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University in Zoology.  She then continued at Auburn University for veterinary school and graduated in 2010. Upon her graduation; Michelle, her husband Joe and their two dogs Baxter and Carmen moved to Washington.

Dr. Burch's areas of interest include orthopedics, dermatology and internal medicine. She enjoys working with both dogs and cats and looks forwards to challenging cases as well as general care.

In her free time she enjoys running, hiking and fixing up her new house. War Eagle!

 

 

 

                                               Dr. Claire Hoffman:

Dr. Hoffman, our newest veterinarian, was born and raised in Bremerton, WA. After high school, she attended Colorado State University for two years before transferring to Western
Washington University to complete her Bachelors Degree. She moved to Lansing, Michigan in 2008 to attend Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

After four intense years of studying, exams, and cold long winters she, her husband Galen, and their cat Herman have returned to the Pacific Northwest!

Dr Hoffman's areas of interest include nutrition, dermatology, and all types of surgery. She enjoys general practice because it allows for the formation of a lasting 
relationship between the patient, the client, and the veterinarian over the lifetime of the pet. She enjoys keeping animals healthy and happy, supporting their families, and fostering the human-animal bond. Her personal hobbies include running, yoga, cooking, and baking. Go Spartans!

Dr. Sherri Kinder:

Dr. Sherri Kinder grew up in Grays Harbor County in WA.  She attended Washington State University, where she received her undergraduate Zoology degree and then her DVM - go Cougs!  She practiced in Moscow, Idaho before moving to Silverdale.  Dr. Kinder enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, especially preventative medicine and client education.  She and Dr. Josh Kinder welcomed their first son, Joshua, into the world in January, 2012.  Her personal interests include spending time with her family, cooking, camping, and almost any outdoor activity.
