Dr. John Paulson:

Dr Paulson graduated from Oregon State University in 1991.  He practiced in Cottage Grove, OR and Redmond, WA before coming to Silverdale in 1996.  His veterinary interest lies in Orthopedic and Soft Tissue Surgery.

Dr Paulson is certified for orthopedic bone plating and Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteomtomy (TPLO) Surgery. 

His personal interests include golfing, backpacking, and spending time with his wife Lisa, and two children Josie and Isaac.  His personal motto is "To live life more like a marathon than a sprint -- and add plenty of rest stops along the way."
 




 


Dr. Catherine Morrow:

Dr. Morrow grew up on a small hobby farm outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA with a Bachelors of Science degree in biochemistry in 2005. She moved to Philadelphia, PA soon after graduation to attend the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After spending four years studying a wide variety of animals, she graduated in 2009 with a degree in small animal medicine.

She has a special interest in Cardiology and Internal Medicine.

Outside of work she is involved in sheep herding with her Australian Shepherd. She also enjoys exploring Washington and sampling local wines.

 

 

 

 

  Dr. Kristen Cage:

Dr. Cage received her bachelor’s degree and DVM from University of Missouri. She moved to Washington in 2005 when her husband, John, was transferred with the US Navy.

Her veterinary interests include wildlife medicine, small animal internal medicine, and radiology; however, it’s the variety of general practice that truly keeps her interest.

Her lifestyle interests include kayaking, hiking, and triathlons.

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Kristen Shearer:

Dr. Shearer grew up in West Seattle and went to undergrad at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. She graduated in 2004 with a BA in French language literature. She then went to vet school at WSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Pullman, WA.

Her special veterinary interests include dentistry, internal medicine, and exotics. She lives with her husband and two rambunctious cats, Ethel and Murray.

She is an avid backpacker, sea kayaker, and skier. She is thrilled to have joined the Ridgetop team and looks forward to meeting you and your pets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Jessica Reed

Dr. Jessica Reed is originally from Freeport, New York. After receiving a BA in History from New York University, she spent time teaching and working as a librarian until that life was interrupted by a pair of sniffly guinea pigs who rekindled a childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine a few years later. Her professional interests include feline medicine, rabbit medicine, and pain management. When not at work she enjoys watching old movies, running, gardening, yoga and snowboarding. Dr. Christine Garvey:

 

Born and raised in Western New York, Dr. Garvey received her Bachelor's degree and DVM from Cornell University.  After completing two surgically intensive internships in California, Dr. Garvey relocated to the Pacific Northwest to start her career in general practice.

She is thrilled to be joining the team at Ridgetop Animal Hospital! Her professional interests include orthopedic surgery, geriatric medicine and wellness.

Outside of work, she enjoys long distance running, Crossfit, live music and relaxing with her cat Bridget and dog Buddy.
